A popular form of social dancing for people of all age groups. Set dancing has once again become popular in recent years.

It's great fun, good exercise, and a great way of meeting people.

However in this country we have 300,000 over weight or obese children. Junk food diets, the attraction of television, computers, and video games and a reduction in the number of hours of physical education in schools have all added to this epidemic of childhood obesity and health related problems. Obesity is directly linked to many serious illnesses, such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, depression, stroke, high blood pressure and certain types of cancer.

The lack of physical activity is one of the biggest threats facing young people today, because unhealthy children turn into unhealthy adults.

Phoenix Total Well Being creates the opportunity to learn in a relaxed, enjoyable and fun environment. With our summer camps we encourage all aspects of your child's development ranging from physical to creative.

Our summer camp will run from Monday to Friday in a purpose built area  ideally suited to your children's needs.

Over the five days we will provide a team of skilled and experienced instructors to teach the following:-

The three weekly summer camp classes are split between two age groups:-

4 & 5 yr olds

7th to 11th July,  11am - 2pm

Price for week only €55!

6 to 13 yr olds

14th to 18th July, 10am - 3pm

18th to 22nd August,  10am - 3pm

Price for one week only €75! 

We held our first ever Easter Camp from Tuesday 25th March to Friday 28th March, and I'm delighted to say that it was a complete sucess. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and fun was had by all, including us!!!

A big hit this year, was playing rounders as can be seen above. Children of all age groups learn the technique of throwing, catching and batting the ball. Instilling the values of working together as a team and improving concentration and co-ordination. 

There is nothing like a giant game of snakes and ladders!!

For A Limited Period Only 

For the month of April phoenix is running a drop in Shiatsu service every Saturday from 4pm to 6pm. This is the ideal oportunity to experience the therapeutic benefits of shiatsu.

Treatments target specific trouble areas with a duration time of fifteen minutes.

Sessions only cost €10 and operates strictly on a first come first serve basis.
